Grout Stuck to Tile

Asked by Barry Allen from Glasgow: I've recently started grouting a mosaic tile floor using Evostick brilliant white waterproof grout, as its an en-suite floor. I've got real problems with the grout drying long before its one hour "optimal application time" its starts setting after 30 mins and becomes impossible to sponge off, so now I have sections of the floor with nasty white residue. Are there no chemical removal agents to peel this stuff off the tiles? - They are multi-coloured so leaving it on looks naff. Hope you can help!!

TileProf says: Hi Barry, this is a very common problem ofter referred to as Grout Haze, to remove you will need to apply a concentrated acid cleaner such as Tile Doctor Grout Clean up http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/AcidCleaner.html Russell Taylor Tile Doctor Ltd
