Discoloured Sandstone

Asked by Andrew Lawrence from East Yorkshire: We have just moved into a house with a stone flagged kitchen, possibly sandstone? It looks as if it has been sealed, but rather badly as the stones are discoloured. What do we use to remove the old sealant, clean the flagstones and then re-seal? Many thanks

TileProf says: You will need to remove the old sealer first, use some of our Remove and Go mixed 50/50 with Nano-clean and cover the Stone with this for about an Hour, and then scrub the floor with warm water, if you have a wet vac Machine this will be the best thing to get the solution off with. Once clean and dry apply 4 coats of Seal and Go for a nice low sheen colour enhanced finish. Russell Taylor Tile Doctor Ltd
