Grout in Pitted Limestone
Asked by Fiona Wilson from Plymouth: |
I have had a limestone floor laid in the kitchen, the surface of which is pitted. The tiles arrived with a slight sheen to them and the builder didn't seal them prior to grouting.I have two problems-one is there is grout in the pitts which the dirt sticks to and the second problem is that dirt welds itself to the floor and it always looks terrible-i just cannot get it clean whatever I do! I hate it and it cost a fortune. I have stripped it several times and re sealed it as this is the only way I can get it clean. What can I do please? |
