Cleaning Fossil Sandstone Floor Tiles

Got fossil floor tiles in kitchen, hall & conservatory .
What's best thing to get dirt off them , clean& seal them.
Are they classed as sandstone ?
They were allready in the house when we bought it .

Sounds like Indian Fossil Stone, if it feels like Sandpaper to the touch then it is a Sandstone, you can clean these with Tile Doctor Pro-clean http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/TileGroutCleaner.html and a Black Buffing pad http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/TileBuffingShop.asp, if their is a sealer still present then you will need to use something stronger such as a 50/50 mix of Tile Doctor Remove and Go with Nano-clean.
Rinse off after cleaning, leave to dry and then apply 4 coats of Tile Doctor Seal and Go for a nice Satin finish.
