Sealer damaged by dogs on French Limestone
|

Asked by Aylene from London: |
We have two dogs and their claws have ripped through the sealant on the french limestone floor laid by the developers leaving unsightly scratches. I would like to remove the sealant and reseal with something more dog friendly. What would you recommend? Area approx 4000 sq ft. |

It sounds like a Topical sealer was used, which would give you a shiny finsh, might be better off using what we call an Impregnating Sealer, such as Tile Doctor Ultra-seal http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/TD-Ultra-Seal.html, which will leave a sealed Matt finish, you will have to remove the old sealer first though, for more information about maintaining Limestone take al look at our dedicated page below http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/Limestone.html
