Grout Haze on Travertine

Asked by Tony Tudor from Manchester: I've just put up some Travertine wall tiles (50mm tiles on a 300mm square mating) but I grouted before sealing and no mater how much scrubbing I do or whatever grout have remove I use I cant get rid of the grout haze. When the tiles are wet they look great but when they are dry they look a mess. Any suggestions how I can achieve the wet look condition on the tiles.

TileProf says: If you used a Flexible Grout then you will need a product called Remove and Go http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/Remover.html, this will get rid of the Polymers, then once dry you can use another product called Grout Clean Up http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/AcidCleaner.html to get rid of the Haze, if however it was just a straight forward cement based Grout then it wont have a Polymer problems, so you can just use Grout Clean Up instead. p.s Grout Clean Up is an Acid so follow the instructions carefully on the back of the bottle Russell Taylor Tile Doctor Ltd
