Cracked Glaze on old Ceramic tiles
|

Asked by Beth from UK: |
Our bathroom has old white ceramic tiles on the walls (probably from around the 1930s when the house was built). The glaze is cracked and we are concerned about whether the tiles and grout/cement? between the tiles are waterproof. Is there a product we can paint over the tiles and grout to waterproof them? |

Hi Beth, we have a product called Grout Colourant http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/GroutColourant.html which works well on Grout and also waterproofs the grout, but any gaps in the grout need to be filled with fresh grout before you can use the colourant.
