Travertine Tile Sealing
Asked by Stephen Williams from Stourbridge: |
I have just layed my travertine tiles on the walls of my shower area, they are a very rustic design some are quite rough with lots of holes that will need filling with grout. Not sure whether to seal them first or grout first what would you recommend?

Always best to Seal first, apply one coat of Tile Doctor Ultra-seal, then leave to dry fully < 24 hours > and then Grout, sponge off any excess otherwise it will dry hazy. Then apply another coat after the grout has fully dried < 24 hours normally >
