100yr old quarry tile

Asked by Jenny Hands from Stoke on Trent: |
I have just uncovered the original flooring in my house that is over 100 years old. I think it's quarry tile and want to restore it. It seems ok but it's got some paint and cement on it in parts. What's best to clean it with? Once cleaned is Seal and Go the next step? |

Recommend you use Remove and Go and Nano-clean mixed together 50/50 and brushed onto the Tiles in question, leave for an Hour and then wearing some Marigolds gloves and a Deck Brush and give them a good scrub and clean. Vac up the old dirty solution as you need, plenty of rinsing required with water, leave to dry a full week, then apply 4 or 5 coats of Tile Doctor Seal and Go for a nice low sheen colour enhanced finish.
