Asked by Sally Skinner from Dorset: |
I am about to tile an untreated plaster wall, but it has large patches of penetrated oil/grease stains from cooking. How can I treat this so that the adhesive will bond? |

Best to use a Sander to rough it up a bit, this will take of the grease and grime and allow the adhesive to stick, for extra strengh protection you can use a product we sell called Primer G, paint it on and leave to dry for 24 hours before you start Tiling.
