Ceramic Tiles are bought as seen and to get a sealer on may or may not work; if your tiles have a rough texture then I would give them a clean first, leave to dry a few hours and then apply 1 coat of Tile Doctor Seal and Go which will bring out a bit of colour and then lift the dull finnish to a satin one.
