Removed tiles from hearth and found original tiles beneath which are stuck underside of tiles. How can we remove what looks like either grout or tile adhesive without damaging the original tiles? |

Not an easy one as their isn't a specific cure for this problem, best just to use a Hammer and a Wood Chisel and angle the strokes at 45 degrees so that it has a chance at slicing off the cement without damaging the Tiles, then use Tile Doctor Grout clean up for the small amount that is left to clean the Tie with, rinse with water after using, and good luck.
