Tiling onto plaster recently applied

Hello
Can you tell me how long after plastering a wall you should wait before putting tiles onto it?

We are not Tilers by Trade, but I do know that it can take several weeks for a newly plastered wall to dry before it can Tiled or Painted as the Plaster will be Oxidising for at least a few weeks before it settles down.
