We have shadows on our recently tiled wall
|

Asked by Sue Love from Berkshire: |
Our tiler has just tiled our bathroom; there are numerous areas where the tiles throw shadows onto the tiles below as the upper ones are not flush. This wasn't very obvious until he put in the ceiling lights. We have angled the ceiling lights to try to minimise these shadows but there are still plenty visible...

Differences in tile height is called Lippage, which can be caused by a rough wall not being flush for the Tiles to go onto, its up to the Tiler or The Plasterer to smooth this down before any Tiling is started, once the Tiles are fitted nothing can be done to correct the Problem. |
