Grout haze under Seal
Asked by Lou from London:
I have a new handmade terracotta tile floor. The tiles are from Fire Earth. They were laid 9 months ago in a large kitchen. They were sealed before and after grouting with Aquamix Seal & Finish and the grout used was BAL. The grout was not cleaned off thoroughly before sealing and a haze and patches of grout show under the seal. Please can you advise on which Tile doctor products & tools to use to clean them, remove the seal and grout patching and re-seal. Many thanks.

It would be best to strip it all off and start again, click on here for how to do that

, when you have stripped off the Sealer you will need to use a product called Grout Clean Up

If however the Tiler used a flexible floor Grout, then you will have to use Tile Doctor Remove and Go first and then the Grout clean Up second to get a result as the Polymers in the Grout will impede cleaning

Or simply give one of our Tile Doctor a call, fill in this form and they will call you
