Asked by Ruth GLAZEBROOK from UNITED KINGDOM: |
I am renovating an old terracotta floor. I have cleaned and stripped it as much as I can - eventually using a builders dilute hydrochloric acid. It doesn't look stained anymore but it is patchy as some areas are matt - looking like raw terracotta and others are shiny as though there is still some sealer or wax on the surface. I don't know what has been put on it in the past. Do I need to get it all matt before I reseal? I have ordered seal and go from you ready to seal but I am worried that the result will still be patchy. |

We have your order Thanks, it will go out today, I would definatley have another go at cleaning (not Acid) as if you seal before all the sealer is out it will come through patchy as you have said.
