I have light coloured ceramic smooth surface tiles on my kitchen floor. recently we have noticed that they get dirty very quickly and look grubby all the time. Should we have sealed them when they were laid (4years ago) and is there anything we can do now to make them more durable?

Smooth Ceramic tiles will not take to a Sealer I'm afraid, nothing will hold on to the Glazed finish, its probably just a case of having a Light coloured Tile in a busy environment and it probably needs a lot of Mopping to get them clean again, sorry.
