How to routinely clean post sealer?

Asked by Tracy from Manchester: |
Once Victorian tiles are sealed with your seal & go, how do you give them a general clean? I have got the neutral tile cleaner but I'm questioning is it ok to sometimes just mop the tiles with plain water? I'm worried to do this due to the story in the customer review PDF of how cleaning them removed the sealer?

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for the e-mail, Neutral cleaner will not remove a sealer, its ph Neutral when 1 cap full is added to a bucket of water.
Im not in a posistion to personally look at every floor that we sell products for but when it comes to Victorian floor Tiles you have to bear in mind that these Type of Tiles are very old and sometimes a sealer doesnt sit well because the face of the Tile has been eroded with wear or misuse of harsh chemicals over the years such as Brick acids etc.
If this is the case then simple washing with or without Neytral cleaner will erode the sealer as the Tiles are no longer able to accept such a thing.
Luckily Victoriam Tiles are very tough and such damage iis still quite rare.
