Grout smearing on outdoor limestone

Asked by Jim Zimon from Brantford, Ontario: Last summer laid 1000 square feet of limstone. The cement grout when washed has smeared mostly in the area of the joints. When it gets rained on, it looks great. The array of colors in the stone become very prnounced and the grout smear does not show up. What can you suggest. Oh yes, I don't want it to be slippery. Please advise and I thank you in advance for your reply. Jim Zimon

TileProf says: Hi Jim, The wonders of the internet, I would suggest a product called Colour-grow but as we are based in The U.K we dont cover the Canada, I would suggest instead AQUA-MIX Products which are readily available in your Country, they sell a sealer called Ultra-solv which should suit your purposes for the grout.
