Fountain in conservatory

Asked by John Bell from Aberdeen: Limestone fountain 1m sq. depth 250mm it is porous and would like to remove all old sealer and reseal with some product that will seal and stand constant contact with about 36 litres of circulating water via pump any ideas please JB

TileProf says: Hi John, No sealer will withstand a chemical content in the water, if using Chlorine or such like it will just kill the sealer within months maybe even weeks. We have a sealer called Colour-grow which can be used in Chlorine free swimming pools and such like which is a 100% waterproof in these situations. Try Oxy-pro for cleaning as this wont damage the Limestone and Colour-grow for sealing. http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/Tile-Doctor-Colour-Grow-Sealer. www.tiledoctor.co.uk/Oxy-Pro-Shower-Tile-Grout-Cleaner.asp Russell Taylor Tile Doctor Ltd
