Restore an old, recently uncovered tile floor.

Asked by Sarah Forwood from Whitstable, Kent: |
On advice I bought some tile cleaner (Grimex) to clean a recently discovered black and white tile floor in my hall. The product does not remove the staining in the white tile. I have tried a scrubbing brush and scourer. Do you have an alternative cleaner or the contact for a local tile doctor restorer so I can obtain a quote. Thanks. |

Hi Sarah,
Sounds like a Victorain Floor Tile, the White ones can be more porous than most of the other colours so are harder to clean, we find using neat Nano-clean on the White helps, we leave it on for an hour and then scrub it in, there will be a noticeable difference between a Tile that has been cleaned this way and one that hasnt.
