Removing cementitious mortar from recalimed tiles

Hello,
I have purchased a quantity of reclaimed quarry tiles to lay on a front path. I need to remove hard cement based mortar from the sides. Please could you advise as to the best way of doing so. A hand held angle grinder has been suggested.

Hi Christina,
The grinder is good for the sides and backs, we use this ourselves, wear some safety glasses and a good pair of saftey gloves and maybe a dust mask, best done outside as its a meesy job.
