Rust stains

Asked by Mark Allen from Hampshire & Algarve Portugal: |
I have a 100m2 roof terrace with what I believe are ceramic tiles. There is a considerable amount of rust staining from a neglected water leak plus a lot of the joints look like they have limescale coming from them which is very hard!
What would be the best products to remove the stains and grout scale and seal the surface
kind Regards
Mark
PS are your products avaialable in portugal otherwise we can ship if needed |

Hi Mark,
Rust cant be cleaned of Ceramic Tiles as they will be damaged on their glaze due to the acid in the rust eating through the surface there is no cure for this.
On Limescale I would use a Brick Acid weekend down 1 to 1 with water then applied to the surface scruubed and the rinsed off with water to make sure the Acid doesnt cause any further problems, but this si the only that will work on Limescale, you wont be able to get our Limescale remover out of the Country but im sure you will be able to get a Brick Acid from a local builders supply.
Wear some gloves and protective googles though.
