Asked by Kevin from essex: |
In the cathedral i work at has portland stone tiles. Some are more porous than others (some smooth and shiny/easy to clean and some no shine) and they have took in some dirt. Also around the candle holders the wax has dripped staining the floor actually into the surface. What would you suggest and would you then seal them? Is it too late for the deep stains? Manny Thanks |

Hi Kevin,
Chemicals are hit and miss on Limestone I find grinidng works well but you will need a machine for this and need to know how to use it as well.
We have Tile Doctor who cover the U.K if you need one if so click on the link below if you want to try the chemcial option then click onto the Limestone link instead.
