dull, dirty, looking floor

We have dark black/grey slate tiles on our kitchen floor. We used HG sealant & polish
when they were first laid. I imagined them
having a nice shine, once they were polished, but this has never been the case. They just look 'dirty' and do nothing to 'enhance' Is there any kind of varnish we could put on them?

Hi Trish,
Some Slates and stones are harder to keep looking good than others, but if you follow the advice on the link below you shouldnt go far wrong.
