sealer remover necessary?

Asked by Marijke Van Eetvelde from Essex: Hi my travertine floor has been in our kitchen for nearly 4 years. It was sealed when it was put down but I don't think there is much left as water gets absorbed in the tiles easily and it gets grubby quite quickly. Do I absolutely have to use the 'sealer remover' before I clean and re-seal the floor or is this not necessary in this case?? THANKS!!

TileProf says: Hi Marijke, You can either use The Burnishing pads to remove the sealer or the Remove and Go, if you dont get the old sealer out you will get a patchy finish when you seal the Stoen so it is vital to use either of the methods mentioned on our site.
