Restoring vintage tile

Asked by Brian Caldwell from St Annes: |
The 1930's tiles in our bathroom have hairline cracks in the glaze, allowing water to get into the tile itself. Is it possible to re-seal the surface to avoid this problem? NB The tiles themselves aren't cracked, just the glazed surface. |

Hi Brian,
I would try Tile Doctor Seal and Go as long as its a crackle in the glaze rather than direct crack this will work well for you, apply as instructed on the back of the bottle polish off any excess with in 5 minutes and wipe off any drip marks straight away once it is applied.
