sealing needed?
Asked by Traude Graham from Northern Ireland:
We are about to install new quarry tile floors into the kitchen and bathrooms of a seaside holiday house. Should they be sealed, and if so, at what stage?
TileProf says:
Hi Traude, Best to Tile first, then grout, then clean them and seal them, Quarrys are not as porous as some Stones on the market otherwise the advice would be in reverse. Regards Russell at Tile Doctor http://www.tiledoctor.co.uk/QuarryTile.html
