It could be any number of things, but white patches on Victorain could either by a damp problem, upsetting the Tiles and Sealer, something we call Eflloresence, this can be determined using a moisture meter, see link below.
Or it could be as you say a solvent or heavy duty Chemical upsetting the Sealer, Victorain Floor Tiles are quite ressitant to most chemicals, but Sealers are not so I would say it is possibly the latter, if so read the detaisl about cleaning the Tiles on the other link below.

p.s If it Damp then this will be a recurring problem unless you rip up the Floor < save The Tiles First > and get to the root of the problem. |
