Cloudy Surface due to Stain Protection

We have had new matt black porcelaine tiles laid to our kitchen. The have been sealed with a stain protector. Dispite repeated washing, we are left with a cloudy white powder type finish. When a non sealed tile was washed it come up perfect. Could the stain protector be the problem and how can it be removed? |

Hi David, Thanks for the e-mail, sounds like an over application of sealer, unlike Stone Porcelain requires very little if any Sealer, any excess needs to be polished off within 5 minutes of applying it. To take off the sealer use Tile Doctor Remove and Go, follow the instructions on the back of the bottle and you will get the result you require. |
